japanese cafeteria!!
welcome to morrison's! or picadilly cafeteria! or whatever you want to call it. but instead of the normal french fries, salted green beans, and slow-cooked southern food at most of the southeast located cafeteria style restaurants, you'll find sushi, tenpura, salmon, rice, miso soup, and tea - among many other delectable dishes. where can you get such a treat?? at our locally owned and operated japanese cafeteria style restaurant! who knew such a fabulous idea for dining had ever caught on in the land of the rising sun? but it has . . . . and for the first time, tiffany and i decided to patronize the joint. and it was good! different from american cafeterias (well, obviously), it was pretty delicious (i won't go so far as to say it was really delicious). worth the trip and perhaps a second trip from us will sometime be in its future.
in case you're helpless and just plum don't know what to do
you walk in and there were lots of side and main dishes, just like home.
however, they don't keep them warm like at home. so you go to the food prep station and zap your selections. oh - the miso soup and rice came hot at least.
i was satiated. good for a quick stop for a cheap budget. go! go!
